There has been a truck going around the town spraying insecticide from the street onto the houses. You needed to be inside or move away.

Dave, a welcome home to say we have enjoyed the blog and looking forward to seeing you safely home in Dean in a week or twos time. Sunday-evening football hasn't been the same without you. In fact Sue and I will be away in Paris the weekend you return, staying in Rene-Pierre's flat on the Iie St. Louis (remember?); we've found a room for the kids in a hostel just across the river. But let's get together for a meal the week after, to hear all the stories.
